Meet Chris

(Founder, CCO, and Original Purple Pirate)

I’m Chris, founder of The Business Buddy Library, Chief Content Creator, and the original Purple Pirate.

I didn’t come to business through theory alone. I’ve started, grown, sold, and acquired multiple businesses, and I’ve served as CEO for international companies in both the UK and the US.

Before that, I spent years in the military, completing six active service tours — an experience that shaped how I think about leadership, resilience, and staying calm when the pressure is on.

Alongside the practical experience, I’ve also invested in understanding the people side of business. I hold an MBA and a degree in psychology, because building a business isn’t just about strategy — it’s about mindset, decision-making, confidence, and learning how to lead yourself.

I’m also an indie author, and I’ve overcome dyslexia along the way. Writing has always been a big part of how I make sense of the world — and it’s why the Library is built the way it is: clear, structured, and designed to be genuinely useful.

Today, my focus is simple: helping small business owners get unstuck, get clearer, and grow faster — without drowning in jargon or feeling like they have to do it alone.
